"What made our wedding unique? I feel like there were a lot of things that made our wedding unique. I think the #1 thing was the venue. When I walked into The Uptown Center over 2 years ago (my goodness time flies) I knew. I knew that was where I was going to marry the love of my life. I knew that the venue was one like nobody had ever seen before. I knew that it was unique in itself, and that was important to us. We didn't want to have a wedding like everyone else has had and The Uptown Center for sure was the standout part of our wedding.
Next was our ceremony, I can't even tell you how many times I've heard that our ceremony captured who we are and how they felt like they got to know both of us more and more from the way that Carrie wrote our ceremony. I think that she kept everyone captivated in telling our love story and telling the guests more about us. From there I think we went to guest comfort.
I know you guys heard me say, I don't even know how many times, that I wanted to make sure our guests were having a great time. I do believe that Joy had to remind me quite a few times that the day was about us as well, but I wanted to make sure that everyone had their fill of food and drinks."
